What is Gigtimes?
Gigtimes is a live music app that sends the stage times for music
festivals straight to your smartphone. During the festival you’ll also be
notified of any late changes to the timings, ensuring you’ll never miss any of
your favourite acts again. All of the stage times are accessible offline after
you first open them, so there’s no need to worry about your phone’s dodgy 3G
either.
How does it work?
Gigtimes is easy to use. Firstly, search through our
database of upcoming events. Once you’ve found the events that you’re
attending, hit the button next to each one to add them to your dashboard. Then
you’ll receive a push notification containing all of the stage times for your
festivals as soon as they’re available.
How do I know the stage times will be accurate?
Whilst stage times are always liable to change at short
notice, we work directly with festival organisers to make sure all of the stage
times you see are 100% accurate at the time they’re posted. And if there are
any late changes to the times, the organisers will let you know themselves by
sending you a push notification via Gigtimes.
Can I download it on my iPhone or iPad?
Although the Android version is out now, we’re still putting
the finishing touches to the iOS version. To stay up-to-date on its progress, you can sign up to our mailing list via the right-hand column of this blog.
Will you be adding any more festivals to the app soon?
That’s certainly the plan! We’re looking to deliver the
Gigtimes for as many festivals as possible, so if you’re interested in working
with us drop us a line on info@gigtimes.co.uk.
